I currently create graphics for the WhatsApp Comms team art directing and designing press and social assets to announce new features on WhatsApp. Living on the WhatsApp blog, covered by journalists from around the world, and shown on WhatsApp social platforms, these assets are integral in understanding new WhatsApp features from a global perspective.
My contributions to these projects include art direction, design, storyboarding for videos, assisting in managing workflows between stakeholders, and working with animators to create impactful assets that will bring interest to global press. Below are some examples of assets created:
Since these assets are for global audiences, I also have worked in building translated assets in over 30 languages.
In addition to the above assets, I've also worked with various artists who join WhatsApp Channels, creating graphics for press introducing the artist joining the platform.
